There were numerous bombs sent. Not caring if they died is big difference from rooting on murder. Encouraging people sending bombs to people you don't like is even worse. Innocent people could easily die. The political impact of this makes it even worse because decent Americans do like these people which means this would divide the country even further.
The world wouldn't be a better place if people just sent bombs to people that they thought the world would be a better place without.
