Let Timmy terminate his current contract and re-sign a smaller one (12m for 2 years?)
RJ + Blair for Tyrus Thomas
Ginobili for Kyle Korver + Ronnie Brewer
Sign Shane Battier or T.Prince
Any thoughts?
Can't believe someone actually took the time to write this bull .
man, Manu is not human, he cannot be traded ok??
trades only work with humans ......
if we get Brewer, then Pryzbilla,
thats it..
then recall Temple, that's enough i think
we can win the NBA le
How about go yourself?
OP, on the trades, no. Just no. Trading Manu for the Bulls' trash is especially bad. Signing Battier or Prince depends on too many factors to consider right now.
And as for you, cutewizard, you've become the most annoying (non-troll) poster on the board with your multiple idiotic posts that say absolutely nothing. Try thinking a little before you post.
Dumb, dumb, dumb...
suck my
Timmy is getting older, Manu is getting older, and Tony is getting older.
It's time to move on.
^ move on to another forum and post this there
God I hope you guys do this.
I love the bolded idea by the way
Splitter and a 2nd rounder to Orlando for D. Howard and Hedo, we drop Hedo to the waiver wire and pick up Iverson for a 4-year deal and sign TMac and Yao to 3 year extensions and then send Parker to NY for Amare and then Gino to Miami for Wade, Bosh and a late 1st rounder. Deal?
i have no thoughts. you just blew my mind away.
I love where you're going..but this thread is a little too premature. Close this and open it back up soon as we get bounced in the playoffs. Those trades are bs though, if that went through the Bulls would be unstoppable
Yeah, never post again.
Re-sign DUNCAN (lower contract)
Hill+Jefferson+Quinn for Iguodala+Holiday
Splitter+Bonner+1st rond pick for Bogut+Mbah a Moute
Sign DeAndre Jordan
------------
Pg: Parker, Holiday, (Temple)
Sg: Ginobili, Neal, Anderson
Sf: Iguodala, Mbah a Moute
Pf: Blair, Duncan
C: Bogut, Dice, Jordan
Tayshawn = 31
Battier = 32
Korver = 29
And none of them are as good as the players you propose we jettison.
The Spurs are off to their best start in franchise history and have a shot at their fifth championship, albeit Parker going down with a semi-minor injury kind of stinks. That being said, why on earth would anyone be remotely interested in pondering the offseason? We don't even know who will do what in the playoffs, which is what its all about anyway.
Let's live in the now, folks. Enjoy the present entertainment.
Trade Parker for a big. We are stacked at the guard position and Hill can do everything Parker can, only better. Quinn is a reliable back-up. Manu is still fresh and can play 40pmg. We need more bigs. Blair is too small and Splitter is a bust. Duncan and Dice will be using walkers to move around next season.
I think I've covered all bases.
That's awfully generous of us to "let" Tim walk away from a $22 million dollar salary right before a new CBA gets negotiated.
Odds of Tim Duncan terminating his contract = 0.00%.
If RC and Pop put a plan in front of Timmy that offered a good chance to vastly improve the roster, I wouldn't put the odds at zero. I would say that he wouldnt sign for 6 mil per though. I could see him taking 12-14mil per over 2 years though if it meant getting some better talent to surround him.
Having said that, I don't see him making any sort of move before the new CBA is put into place.
