not sure what you mean by true democracy. do you mean a direct democracy where everybody votes on everything? a republic of democratically elected officials is still democratic. if an election is held, and the losers are seeking to invalidate or overturn those results, then i would consider than an attack on the democratic system
i have always accepted the EC results as valid because that's the rule of law. i didnt call trump an illegitimate president just because he won the EC while losing the popular vote. i just think the system is stupid and we should try to improve it.Why do you accept the EC results when your candidate wins but cry foul when your candidate loses?
