In really new at the parenting thing, but isn’t part of it knowing better and making some key decisions for them?
Forcing a healthy 17 year old to get an emergency vax that he doesnt need is not "knowing better" its just being an ass parent.

If u were a decent parent your kid would probably make good decisions like either take the vax or be careful.

Possibly. If I believe CDC is acting on good data.

What would make you move the goalpost and not believe they are acting on good data?

how much less than 1%. does that fgure apply to Delta?

is that the only meaningful risk?

given the large number of likely infections, the absolute number of outlier outcomes is likely to be large.

Its most likely way way way less than 1% as only 2000 2-17 kids have been hospitalized since beginning of pandemic. According to CDC

What points? I said healthy 17 year old are not at risk. Why because less than than 1% required hospitalizations.

    Those are facts.

ngl these news reports are starting to make me wanna jack it

I wish we could get an idea of DeSantis' actual popularity in Florida, but I think that's just sunshine talking. The vast majority probably still support him. Plus all the state GOP election and gerrymandering laws pretty much mean he and his ilk will remain in power until they leave.
