You're talking about Facebook. 1st amendment speech is protected from the government, not online communities. perhaps that will change given recent events but the fact is that a profile getting banned on twitter or facebook being compared to 1984 is laughable, especially considering all the elemnts of the book present now in Trump's regime. to miss all that but point at social media as the sign of 1984 makes me think you never truly read it.
