There's no math necessary if the incidence of blood clots from vaccines is less than that of clotting related to COVID-19. Admittedly that's an ask, not an answer.

The people that usually die from Covid have either already gotten their vaccine, or are staying home. Plus we dont know how many vaccines that would have been administered since pause went to arms that were destined to die from covid. Not to mention deaths lag for weeks.
My guess is after a couple of days they will say J&J is safe for over 60. But I just dont think theyll recommend this for youg ppl. Especially the very young.
It seems like a setback as I believe only J&J was testing on kids.
