Is he not taking one of those spots or does this mean he will only be on the road until they are filled?
Only until they are filled.
I love the Coordinator hires Herman made A+. It's going to be a wait and see approach on the position coaches. The Valai hire really stands out to me for some reason. You'd think Texas would have hired someone with way more skins in the game from a coaching standpoint.

The Aggies... damn this weakens our conference.
So far LSU has lost the following starters:
On Offense - QB, RB, LT, LG, C, RG, WR
Still to bee decided - TE, OT
On Defense - DE, ILB, ILB, OLB, CB, S
Still to be decided - NG, S, DE
It is possible they might be replacing their entire offensive line and 6 of the front 7 on defense. The team we face next year is going to be totally different than the one we faced last year.
And, both offensive and defensive coordinators
Coaches are back on the road visiting schools now that the Dead Period is over.
- Bryan Carrington has been by Aledo and (Twitter picture)
- Jay Valai is in Dallas and has been by Cedar Hill and will probably hit Duncanville as well and South Oak Cliff and/or Lancaster (24/7)
- Andre Coleman is expected to hit Everman in DFW (2021 TE Juan Davis' school) and Dallas Skyline (2021 Quay Davis) (24/7)
- Someone is supposed to visit All Saints Episcopal and see The Brockermeyers (24/7)
Texas went to see DE Princely Umanmielen today.
