Yea in the sense of stepping outside of themselves and innovating I like the Beatles. But it's hard to believe that the Stones have about 20 songs that probably 90% of the modernized world would know within 10 seconds of hearing the first riff. I mean some bands spend their whole career just trying to get a hit, and the Stones have arguably 15 not just hits, but legendary songs. Like I said, I like the Beatles, but I think that if Mick Jagger was shot 30something years ago, people would appreciate the Stones more than they do
