Wrong. They were the second best team in the west last year, and Manu didn't even play 45% of the games. And I also think that RJ is way better than Finley, and Dyess is also better than Bonner.
At least we've got a better bench than Dallas.

That lineup aint gonna mean didley unless the spurs revamp their offensive playbook. Gotta have more than 'four down' to get the most out of the weapons.

Actually I think our bench is pretty good this year without Manu coming off of it. George Hill will have one year down and more confidence and I think he can really be the 6th man this year.
It has been and always will be STUPID to have Manu as a starter. Manu as leader of the second unit creates matchup problems for every team in the league. With our stronger bench this year Manu will be overwhelmingly affective. With Tim/Tony/RJ starting there will not be enough shots left over for Manu to be Manu. He is unique and his value goes beyond stats. He will make the second unit the best in the league.
I don't know that I'd have the Spurs #1, but I'd put them ahead of Boston.

Cavs and Magic should be higher, Nuggets are too high.
Except that Kobe dosen't start at PG, Manu does start at SG from time to time, also Manu plays when the game is on the line.
Id think that Allen is better than Manu, after watching last years playoffs, Allen leading Boston alot and Manu on the bench.
They will have some of the best second units dumbass.

I'll take Manu as of today if he is healthy. Ray has got him by a couple years I believe. (Ray in prime > Gino in prime.....but that is not the case.)
I think Perkins starts for Boston, and Manu will come off the bench. That probably changes things a little.
The difference is the Lakers cant play with their best 5 players in the same line up, where as the Spurs can.
A better comparison might have been best closing line-ups, but i think we had that one recently.
I don't see how New Orleans is not in the top 10.
