Sam was great in Cheers
Honestly Ted Danson is ing gold in whatever he does. I originally didn't think a whole lot of him in Cheers or Three Men-- because of the typecasting but from Becker to Good Place he's been amazing.
Weird moment of agreement with Pavlov, will Chris accept the concordance?
Becker always seemed like a punchline show (like, "who would watch this?" kind of thing) but he's so good in The Good Place it makes me want to go back and check it out.
With Diane, the chemistry was amazing. After Diane, Sam's character was just a caricature.
I mean it is a 90s CBS sitcom but it's ensemble had nice chemistry in the first four seasons and Danson did a fine job with a character who managed to do good while being an insecure asshole most of the time.
There was a short lived show called Help Me Help You where he started the transition to the kind of character he plays in The Good Place not based on his looks or sex appeal. By Bored to Death he was stealing every scene he was in as a supporting character and distracting me from how annoying the writing and the lead on that show could be.
Forgot about Bored to Death, need to check that out.
this thread went sideways in a good way.
used to like danson but i guess he's just another celebrity loon too.
Ted Danson is really docile and mostly humble in real life from what I've seen.
My guess is he just wants to bend over Jane Fonda; and it happening going against the grain.
I always liked his cameos on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
Derp troll game is way in the negative.
cheers was a classic
but kinda weird that that tweet woody harrelson and the re from friends were the same characters
americans are weird like that
What about Curb your Enthusiasm?
Is it though? You guys are talking about Cheers to make yourselves feel better about your lameness.
Ted Danson really has evolved into a complete actor tbh.
Wouldn't I know. We apparently have black face's fan club here.
His role as Captain Hamill in Saving Private Ryan, while small, was a nice piece of work as well.
He's a good actor.
Some more comfort food for the Chumpettes there.
Jane Fonda is still alive? Wow
