Lol, I don't even know who that is. I mean, the name sounds familiar and all, but I have no concern for anyone on that team except for Harden and maybe Ariza.
Per Sam Amick's Twitter (on my phone so linking is a hassle).
Wow...that Houston matchup just got even less scary.

Not as big of a deal with Jones back. But still, he was a good player for them this year.
um, he was playing 28mpg for HOU and is a damn good 3pt shooter . oh and was shooting over 50% from the field.

Sucks. Capela better get playing time.
Replacement level player. Not nearly as significant as losing Beverly.
Can you put this in perspective? Is this like the Spurs losing Eric Williams? Or more like Bonner?
Donatas Motiejunas...he's their 3rd best big and was a reason they were able to continue playing well without Dwight.
He's not amazing or anything, but this definitely hurts them.
Equivalent to us losing a player between Marco and Manu (if we had one)
What hater said. Motiejunas could have played backup C with Dwight on the bench. His three point shooting will be missed. Plus Motiejunas was finally starting to become a low post threat.
My brother in law is a huge Rockets fan and was really high on that guy. He's pissed.
Think 2011 Bonner and Blair. Can play a lot of minutes while winning a bunch of regular season games, but can't be part of the playoff rotation of a serious contender.
yup rocketfans melting down![]()
No more dmo yeah
everything coming up Millhouse

Come to think of it. it would be similar to us losing Baynes (assuming Tiago is coming back close to 60% for the playoffs)
tossup between this guy and Errors, tbh...
lol @ that Capela kid, he's 0-15 in free throws in 9 games played.
Between Diaw and Baynes in terms of importance to the rotation, I believe.
ah...so Bonner.
28mpg vs. 2.8mpg
good comparison![]()
Yeah he sucks at free throws, he can still help.on defense and he sets hard screens on offense. Plus he can rebound.
Disagree. Motiejunas has probably been better this year than Beverley. The numbers support that stance as well.
He's a solid defender who can also spread the floor and hit 3s at a consistent rate. He's also shown signs of having a respectable post game. He's definitely better than the average bench big.
Again, I'm not saying this is some massive blow to them or that he is an amazing player...but it definitely hurts a team whose chances of going deep in the playoffs were already pretty slim in the first place. Comparing him to 2011 Blair is an insult tbhMotiejunas is an above average defender who can give them spot minutes at the 5. Now they'll likely have to play Dorsey (one of the worst offensive players in the league) more minutes .
Houston fans love dmo, Spurs fans hate ayres
