Sterns might be the slowest safety in the nation. He plays like he has cinder blocks tied to his feet. Unfortunate because his Freshmen campaign was so promising.
Sterns plays every play to not get injured.

yeah, I replayed that play several times. the receivers left hand looked to squeeze the ball as it hit the ground; meaning he didnt have complete control when the ball hit the ground, his hand pushed in on the ball. if he had full control and the ground didnt help him make the catch, the ball wouldnt look like he pushed in with pressure. But, yeah, that could have gone either way and I'm surprised it went Texas' way

Good offer, IMO. Longhorn program could do very well just living off the Austin area QB pipeline. Several NFL QBs from the Austin area were never offered.
like the rest of the DBs, part of that is poor technique; wrong initial steps, bad angles, only going to strip the ball instead of playing the ball, on and on and on.
Without spring training and a summer to work on what they should have learned in the spring, it's hard to instill new habits (technique) that was taught for 2-3 yrs

JaTavion Sanders is by far the best player on that team, and no matter what playblair says, he is solid to Texas now. Btw, funny to put a timer on how fast playblairs posts get deleted by new mods. LMAO !
