High or low humidity doesn't matter, because the virus can be transmitted person-to-person besides from staying on surfaces. If you get coughed, sneezed, or heavily breathed-on,or even have contact with an infected person, it's a trip to disease land, no matter the outside weather. I do hope for the best for San Antonians, but you really shouldn't be spreading misinformation just because you choose to believe it to feel safer.
Just got word I’ll be deploying on the USNS Mercy which is currently in San Diego. From what I’ve heard we will be taking over trauma patients and everything else other than COVID-19 patients so the actual hospitals can just focus on that. I’m guessing we will be going to SF or Seattle possibly, I’ll have more info on it tomorrow on what the is going on.
Not true, testing people who died recently of pneumonia would reveal more cases of mortality via c19.

Regarding religion, what's crazy to me is that Jesus was a socialist. He helped mainly the poor and said about the rich that they wouldn't go to heaven (the needle story). Most christians in the US live their life the opposite way, they defend the rich and they say that the poor deserve to be poor. Those people have no read the bible, they just use some parts to justify their choice (anti-abortion, anti-gay) but completely ignore the rest. Besides your stupidity, where did you see that Italy is doing nothing? The country is in quarantine. That's the only way the spread will stop. China has nearly eradicated the virus after 5-6 weeks of lock down.
Also, do you know that a lot of young people are hospitalized in the US (20% of people in hospital for the coronavirus are between 20 and 44 year old and 18% between 45 and 54). Obesity apparently plays a big factor so in a country like the US where obesity and overweight is the norm (39.8 and 31.8%, respectively), I wouldn't be as stupid as you. Statistically, you might be in that category since 70% of your population is fat.

It may of interest that China ran out of tests too and changed to doing chest x-rays, particularly for people under 30. It seems the virus can create permanent lung damage particularly for people who smoke, vap including tobacco, and marijuana.

I think that Sanders is too far on the left. I believe in a public healthcare and education system for anybody to have access to without going into bankruptcy if they are sick or if they want an education (my in-laws are americans and they have both situations). I think that having the most educated and healthy population is more important than to have one trillion dollar defense budget.
Saying that, I'm not a socialist, I think that my country is way too far on the left. If you think that Obama was a socialist, you should come to France. I think that small businesses should be helped as much as possible, I think that self-employed people and small business owners are the heart of a nation. I have no problem helping those people and them making a lot of money as a result of their hard work.
But I believe that giant corporations should not be given any handouts and shouldn't be allowed to do some fiscal optimization. If Apple doesn't want to pay taxes in the US and wants to pay them in the Caiman island for example, then they should move their headquarter there and do their business there without having access to the US market. It is not normal that these corporations use the infrastructure and protection that our countries have to offer without financing them.
I believe that capitalism will collapse if the wealth is not distributed better. Capitalism only works if people buy good and services. Even though you might think that you pay a lot of taxes and your government spends a lot of money, the US is one of the countries with the lowest public spending (~35% of GDP) and one of the lowest tax system in the world so hard to blame your difficulties on those.
Even though I criticize the Republicans , I really love your country. I lived there for a long time as a scientist (yes I do really have a PhD), my wife and in-laws are Americans. I just don't believe that the direction is going right now is the right one.

Today the 19th, the US has more than 11 000 cases (with still a really low number of testing) compared to the 7375 for Italy at the same time. The rate of contamination is following the same trend. Fortunately, so far the number of deaths is not.
