The real question is does ST still want to trade him now that he's playing so well? Earlier we were all opposed to re-signing him for a big price tag. Has this run changed anything?
Reserves are announced tonight right?

He does. He won’t get it though, sadly.
He doesn't deserve a spot... He is playing for a losing team... The guy isn't a spur... I really don't want him representing us
What run? We are losing...that's what empty calorie players do
I want him gone. This stretch is just increasing his trade value.
What's really impressive is that almost 100% of his points are either twos or FTs. Basically no threes. Unheard of in today's game.
Players from losing teams make the all-star team all the time. You can bet money Lillard will be there and the Blazers are a bigger disappointment than the Spurs. And, last time I checked, DeRozan was wearing a Spurs uniform. He seems to be settling in nicely in his second season, which is usually the adjustment period for a new Spur.
Not sure why you hate on him so much. He's more of a Spur than your boy Kawhi.
A very nice run of games has turned a very bad 2019 into a so-so season.

Maybe we can trade for Davis Bertans. Looks like a good player.
Absolutely still want him traded, especially now that his value has gone up. The FO won't do anything of course. But he's had great stretches before, never when it mattered most. Even now, with him balling out of his mind, the Spurs aren't even a playoff team.
DeRozan has to be an All-Star reserve. He's playing great
i’d take ja over demar. SGA too.
Can he sustain this kind of play throughout his nextcontract?
That is the question.
Him stinking this year up would have been a sweet stor tho.
I'm in favor of trading him as I don't see the Spurs Contending for the next few years and the timing doesn't work out for him and LMA. I think DDR probably can perform another year or two at this level, but I think it's time for a rebuild. Maybe not a complete "trust the process rebuild"
You know, I think you are right. Better player, different story.
The Guy has played hard and tried and mostly has fit in.
He doesn't and he won't receive one. It's nice that they've been a positive with him and Aldridge on court since the latter migrated to 3, but it doesn't erase the majority of the season beforehand where they weren't. It also doesn't erase his poor defense and refusal to shoot 3s, which necessities or at least creates the perception that they need to resort to some of the absurd lineups we see in order to try to work around his limitations.
Jokic, Paul, Lillard, Gobert, are locks, leaving 6 for 3 spots: Westbrook, George, Towns, Ingram, Booker, Mitc . Since politics always factor in, Westbrook, George and Mitc , are probably slight favorites.
Re-run all that for the month of January. Then let's talk.
The question of this thread is whether he deserves an ASG invitation. The answer is yes.
What to do with DeMar long term is a different discussion.
Contract year Demar has been very surprising. He does.
Ingram beat out George, Towns, Booker (biggest snub), DeRozan.
Wow surprised Ingram got in kinda, he’s been good but still
kyrie didn’t make it! really surprised tbh. not that i thought he deserved it. beautiful.
Dude is basically putting up Monta Ellis numbers on a lotto team
