That's the thing, if I told you last year that kawhi would miss 16 months of basket ball in his prime without a timetable to return you'd be alarmed. It's a huge issue that he can't heal in that period!
You may believe he'll heal in 3 months but what evidence do You have? You about people jumping to conclusions but you yourself are making a pretty huge assumption that he will recover.
I see in your other post your talking about medications. I guess if it was diagnosed in N.Y. We'll hear an update near the time he signs the contract. It just seems strange you refer to drugs in the off-season....It's been off-season for all year for kawhi! So he should have the medications in January at the latest and the treatment timelines should correspond with various statements made by spurs/ insiders. I assume kawhi would be most likely to explore return before treatment and near check ups

Between thinking he'd retire at 26 and believing he'd be able to heal...Well, I wouldn't call the latter a pretty huge assumption. But that's me.
Well it's the fact that he's due for a huge contract soon that makes this so risky. Even a short continued injury puts huge stress on the team in determining his worth,.That's not my decision to make, I just hope for all sides no one is lying about his status to screw the contract.
