True. The fact that so many self serving republican politicians are willing to assist Trump in flushing the country down the toilet is what I’ve found most bewildering. The idiot supporters don’t surprise me, but the number of opportunist politicians willing to forego any sort of moral compass to support the guy is shocking. It’s been an eye-opening 6 years.
Nothing bewildering about that. The guy is popular with his party's base, but also an idiot and incredibly easy to manipulate. He's barely literate. Heck, Mitch toyed with him for 4 years.
