As long as Manu is getting real minutes the Spurs will not have a chance to win anything. This seems counter intuitive because Manu is still a good player and has a highlight reel that would rival anyone's. I say this not as a dig at Manu, but because it means the Spurs don't have any options on the bench besides a 41 year old Manu Ginobili. This is a fast paced league now, and though Manu is no slouch by a long shot, he's not at the age range to run up and down the floor with the likes of the Rockets or the Warriors. He'd going to be forced into retirement by something horrific instead of going in full health to hunt starfish and crabs.
If we aren't serious and just want to have fun, yeah. It doesn't get much more entertaining than watching this guy.

Pop said Manu would be hunting bears up in the north in his last presser, when being asked about his status...
    Oh that’s right

Under normal cir stances i could take or leave Manu but considering what went down this summer i think we need a true Spur to help us transition to whatever is in our future.

He can go. Pop is already holding the youth back, no reason for this washed bum to do it as well.

    Free Lonnie Walker
Manu isn't going to steal minutes from anyone at this stage in his career. But the Spurs do need him now that Parker is gone. Just for his play here and there and for his leadership and down to earth behavior. They need whatever they can get that can bring a little bit of the way things were before Duncan left

It wouldn't surprise me if both Manu and TD return.

The only place Manu should be returning to is his home country of Venezuela, tbh...

Alright, I definitely would be down with TD returning. That would be awesome.

I think it's almost but certain that Manu would return, hopefully, in a very limited role.

I read too many 3 musketeers growing up and keep seeing Duncan, Manu and Tony with Kawhi going against them in the later chapter mirroring the story. I swear Spurs had something special and Manu is that last reminder of that golden era. Just one last year Manu!
