Both Obama AND Trump were told about Russia's interference directly after Trump won.
Trump is on record saying he does believe Russia interfered. He is also on record saying its a deep state lie. Trump has vacillated between these two directly opposing statements.

Its not the president’s job to find alleged corruption in political opponents in the upcoming election. In fact this is arguably the worst way to go about actually finding anything for the public because it is a political opponent AND the president is asking a foreign country and their intelligence service to interfere. Absolutely impeachable.
