If you had been around here a while, I get every jersey who plays for the Spurs, I get ribbed about it.
I was just heading that off
But yeah, as soon as it would be announced he agreed and said what his number will be, I would order that shiznit up quick.
That's cool. Now that I got a job, I'll work on my jersey collection lol.
where do you get your jerseys, man?
Then there's this:
We're intently interested in selecting Nicholas Batum. Really. In fact, we've never even heard of George Hill.
Really? Hmmm. Where's that damned card I have to send to the commissioner? And how do you spell "Batum"?
How about?
"Darryl, I wish I could quit you."
"I wish you could too."
im still looking for a silver retro ginobili jersey, wheres a good place online to find one of those?
Yeah, I don't think the Spurs expect to find that bonus, either. Getting Maggette has absolutely nothing to do with stopping Dirk Nowitzki. I think it's completely unrealistic to think that Maggette would ever play that role for the Spurs, if he can be bothered to sign in San Antonio.
Maggette has about as much chance of effectively defending Dirk as I do.
NBA Store. you can get any jersey on there. just go to the teams' personalized jersey and they usually have a scrollbox of every player on the team.
Bold talk for a one-eyed fat man.
I feel a tad bad for Lindsey.
If Maggette truly wants to start winning, then SA should be his priority. Coming here would make us automatic favorites for next year. With a core of Duncan, Parker, Ginboili, Maggette, Mahinmi, Hill, and Udoka, the Spurs are poised to keep their window open for a few more years and quite possibly win a few more les.
You want that ring, you need to come here.
I disagree.
@ the thought of Maggette guarding Dirk. Maggette is like 6'5. Not what you would call a "long small forward."
Ever laugh at something for a long time and no idea why?
After reading that, I had that moment![]()
Maggette guarding Dirk >>>>>> Parker
Parker isn't assigned to guard Dirk. He just does it on some switches sometimes. Pretty much anyone on the Spurs roster is better than Corey Maggette at guarding Dirk, outside the point guards.
Chris Sheridan was just on ESPNews, and he laughed at the idea of the Spurs being front-runners to get Maggette, saying that Maggette is the best UFA left on the market, and teams with cap space would be more of a threat to get him before any team offering the MLE.
Then he said that if those teams choose other players, then he would have to settle on the MLE, and basically decide where to go.
My coke-bottle glasses don't deprive me of an eye, man.
And quit insulting fat people. . . .
Well, of course. Maybe those teams with cap room have other plans.
The assumption will be there until proven wrong.
They laughed at Michael Finley going to SA as well.
I like how the ESPN guys are laughing @ inside sources of the league like they are no one.
They could be, but I'm just suprised at the arrogance ESPN's writers are showing.
Maggette >>>> Bonner, George Hill
Damn, it'd be cool if I could get a customized swingman jersey. Can anyone convince me replica jerseys aren't total pieces of crap?
