    Talking about computers not phones.

    ISP: HughesNet Satellite
Price: 60/month with 350MB cap dailly

Yes I am getting hosed but it's all I can do out in the boondocks. I'm trying to find out what ISP has a laptop connect card with no monthly limitations. My friend says AT&T is 60 a month with no monthly download cap but I can't find any proof of that online.

    You?

    ISP: Consolidated communications
    Price: 40 a month

Just have to say this is the tiest isp I've ever used internet with...

but I'm not paying for it... so I can't complain..

this goes down when 3 people share the bandwidth... and even when they dont..

    its quite ridiculous...

    At work:
    ISP: Verizon FIOS Business
    Price: 100/mo

20Mbps down/5Mbps up, no caps, 5 static ip addresses, remote dial up access.

    At home:
    ISP: Comcast Cable
    Price: 50/mo

5Mbps down/768kbps up, no caps that I know of (for now, Comcast sucks)

If I could, I would get FIOS at home.

we live in von ormy, tx and we don't get anything other dial up. i found this service about a year ago. i use to be wildblue, then at&t wildblue, now i think its called at&t satellite. i think the software and installation was about $200 and customer service is really good. the only issue we have is when they slow down the connection speed when we get close to the thresholds but it only takes a few days to get back to normal.

    AT&T/Wildblue
    $69/month
    12,000 mb download
    3,000 mb upload

    AT&T FAP Monthly Usage Thresholds
Value Pak Select Pak Pro Pak
    Upload Threshold (MB)1 2,300 3,000 5,000
    Download Threshold (MB)2 7,500 12,000 17,000

1 Upload Threshold is the volume of data that can be uploaded during the previous 30 days before the Fair Access Policy may restrict the user's speeds.
2 Download Threshold is the volume of data that can be downloaded during the previous 30 days before the Fair Access Policy may restrict the user's speeds.
