    I downloaded a book, but dude who made the archive just took photos of each page.

    Anyone know a good way to recognize the characters so that I can just write them in a .tex file (to then compile into postscript or pdf)?

    Acrobat Pro couldn't handle it, so I ended up using OmniPage Pro to extract the text from the book.
