Great game for Team USA
We cant shoot for .....3pt or FTs, but who cares. We are the fastest team on the court. We force a ton of turnovers. We get too many layups and dunks. Our defense is impregnable (Thank you Mike Tyson for this one).
Honestly our only true flaw is that we turn the ball over too much. We make careless, lazy, and sloppy passes. Basically we try to be too cute at times.....however, it is that same creativity that gets us so many easy points, so I can live with the turnovers, especially if we keep winning by 20+.

Another great win by a landslide... the US is murdering its way back to the gold.
A lot of Americans acted the same way back in 04, so it shouldn't really surprise you.

Spain was painful to watch.
Wow...another great game. This team is really starting to change my opinion of them. I have been worried about them maintaining their defensive intensity but they are showing no signs of slowing down. They forced 28 turnovers and had twice as many assists as Spain. The showboating has basically stopped and this team looks to be all business on the offensive end, with good ball movement that has created a lot more easy opportunities.
James continues to destroy everyone...18pts, 8ast, 5reb and 4 steals. He is not willing to accept failure again, a sentiment that permeates from this team more and more with every game. It was good to see Melo regain some confidence too. He seems to have found his stroke at just the right time. Hopefully it carries on into the tournament. Prince also got some confidence boosting play. I have always thought that he could be an asset to this team on the perimeter with his defense. If he continues to knock down those shots he should get more burn.
Dwight Howard had some real bonehead plays. He had a few stupid fouls at the beginning and a goal tend that he never should have went for. I like Bosh better in this style of play. Neither had a great game this game, but I think Bosh just works better within the offense. Man, just imagine what it would be like if we could swap out Boozer and Howard for Josh Smith and Tyson Chandler. There would be even more ownage than we are seeing now.
Good win...lets stay focused and not get overconfident...do that and the gold should be coming home.
