Oh and very good game too. I was only able to stream the 4th quarter from work but it was by far the most entertaining game I've seen these olympics. The U.S.-Argentina game should be fun
I'm a big argie homer, and even I think we're going to get bent... hopefully, I'm wrong. I'm really hoping I'm wrong.

Nocioni played on one freaking leg!
    He is UNREAL.

Delfino is the guy you are always expecting to have a "breakout year"...
but I've always liked him and I'm still waiting for that.
    Go Carlitos

We'll see, I expect it to be close for at least a half. If there's one thing Argentina has going for them, it's that they won't be intimidated by guys most of them have been playing against in the NBA for years. It all depends how they start the game. If they get some confidence early on and get at least 2 of their stars going, anything could happen I think.

Realistically though... you're probably right, lol. US by 15+.

Great heartbreaking game!!! If Argentina can win the bronze medal against Lituania or Spain, I'll be happy. Now it's time for the US team to prove they're for real, and take the gold back. I will cheer my ass out for Argentina next friday, but i know we have a 10% chances against this Dream Team. I just hope it isn't a blowout.

While I'm rooting for team USA and think they will win easily.

Theres no doubt in my mind I won't discount a Ginobili led team one iota.

the thing about USA is like in 2004 they hadn't played a team with a perimeter player that knows how to handle NBA pressure like Manu who hides and covers the ball in his arms so all you can try to do is reach in and will hit his arms every time, something the refs let the lakers get away with in the WCF. Manu as the primary ball handler will limit TO that are the forefront of USA offense, they have a 3 way offense: full court pressure results in TO fastbreak for dunk layup, 3 pointers, plus and 1 layups. So if you can atleast limit one of those elements of USA offense you have a chance

The only thing I'm sure about the next game is that there's going to be a huge Scola thread, whether he plays well or not.

Your computer would have just froze again at the climax in the end!

    You're just making my point.

Well, don't underestimate the heart of a champion. USA fans are nervous, we wanted Greece. I know, I am one of them. It won't be a blowout. I will not be shocked if Argentina wins to be honest, and it would not be an upset either.
I'm sorry. I like Argentina, but they are going to get dragged by the US team.

Whatever you say. It wasn't nearly as bad of a shot as you're making it out to be. With that much time on the clock you go with the first decent look you get and it happened to be a semi-contested 3 from the top of the key. A drive to the hole doesn't guarantee 2 points or even a better look than the one he got.
Read what I said. You're making my point.

I stated it was a good shot to begin with.
