Well i decided to listen to most of the knowledgeable posters here who said Scola is a scrub and he'd suck. I think a lot of people were wrong about Scola. At the very least he is a decent player.
Hint: A lot of "the most knowledgeable posters" on the board are not truly the most knowledgeable.

    That's right.

Scola didn't even score the 37 points in 32' against Kirilenko.

    Bosh COMPLETELY obliterated him.

How did they look weak? They were able to coast this game. Given, it was not against a fully healthy Argentina squad, but they would have won anyways.
Well, lets see: the refs helped the US, the US were up by only 13 when we stopped trying, Manu couldnt play yet it wasnt a blowout, everytime anyone in the US team tried to do a flashy play they looked like fools getting blocked or making to's, etc, etc, etc...

Wish this thread had more Olympic spirit.

The Olympic Spirit is about rooting for your country...that's why they put the names of the countries on the front of the jerseys. That's who the players are there representing...their country.

Scola clearly can't rebound. He only got 11 today.

USA did not look completely sharp at times because they lost focus, but they never looked in trouble. That is pretty impressive at this stage in the game.

The olympic spirit is for sending a bunch of annoying pricks who've been talking for the last 4 years down a peg.

    Scola can't play defense.

Bosh had 42 points on 20/23.

If only Manu gave Manny enough change for a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos, this whole thread would be so different. Way to go, Manu. You could've saved yourself so much scorn for $1.49.
