Shoog you are the one that can't read with understanding?
You're right, I didn't waste my time actually reading the argument because it seemed stupid. Just to make clear, then, you were not trying to say that Tim Duncan getting cortisone shots was like people using anabolic steroids?
He thinks all of Team USA (or at least most all as he has cleared up) are taking anabolic steroids and banned substances.
So what does that have to do with Duncan getting cortisone shots? Dammit, are you trying to make me go back and read it?
He tried to throw that in there as proof Americans were on drugs. But then when we all explained that there was a difference between the cortisone based steroids and anabolic steroids, he tried to say that was his point.
Man and I thought I was dumb.
Yup
Well I was on the conversation with "drugs" (steroids) in general. That some are used for good things, some for health issues etc.
And that medicine is and alway was near the sport.
Now with the modern technology sportsmen can also use banned steroids.
The fact is that pro athletes are taking them. The problem might be with dose, cause also people got the ideas about what can be banned what not and if a sportsmen have too much of some hormone (or anything else) they say the test is positive.
The problem with NBA is that they have inner testing.
They were never tested in international compe ion.
One of the reason there was dream team in 1992 was that they not going to be tested cause they have their own tests.
And it is highly improbable that an athlete can have a training camp, pre season then 82 game season with all the flights, and still being fresh for the playoffs! Plus some of them during the season gaining muscle mass which really with basketball training and the games is out of mind.
So since 1992 the opinion that NBA is not clean has increased.
btw. Shoog I got the massive hate in here for saying that Americans had luck had refs and were on roids and still could not dominate Spain.
I don't know if I won't be banned for that (and for rest things I was talking about "Americans")
It offended some people I did not want to offend...
Well, anabolic steroids might be the single worst thing a basketball player could take. Unlike American football and baseball, it would give you very little in terms of long-term advantage, while increasing the risk of injury substantially.
looks like mannywaswrong yet again my friends.
I feel sorry for Michael Redd. What the was the point of even including a gunner like him if you were going to play him as a third team human victory cigar? Didn't Zsckskshski realize that by not giving Redd any burn, if we were in a hard bind and going cold, and then he asked Redd to come in and knock down threes, the chances of him doing so would be questionable?
Last night, if that Spain 2nd half zone would have got us in a 8-10 point hole, and Coach K called on Redd, do you really think his playing time thus far would have had him ready mentally and rhythmically to knock down those shots we would have needed?
We might as well have added another big. He looked nothing but stoked when we were winning but I still feel we misused him, and this will lead to future USA teams either neglecting or failing to acquire true shooters for future olympics.
Well it gives you long term advantage.
Looking at LeBron or Dwight you can tell.
Also what I wanted to say. And I was saying is that sportsmen that are retired saying it is wasting money doing the tests. Big amount of them, some say 100% "are on something" it's just matter on what they are and if they are too high of the limit (limit which can be also created by a laboratory [commisin])
Sportsmen have their own labs which are working on passing the tests.
Examples of lance, arnold or carl lewis
This is a lie.
These basketball players have been tested by the US Anti-Doping Agency this year:
Carmelo Anthony
Shane Battier
Christopher Bosh
Elton Brand
Kobe Bryant
"The only thing I think they mean is that originally NBA players were not subject to out-of-compe ion testing. I believe, since I got here in 1990, that all of our teams have been tested in compe ion. I believe since around 1998 we have also been subject to out-of-compe ion testing. We have been 100 percent fully compliant with USADA and WADA. In fact, last night [after the Greece game] we had a member of our team tested."
-- Craig Miller, spokesman for USA Basketball

That speaksspokesman for USA Basketball
I want to say it one more time.
It's more about how to pass the test then being tested
There is official stance and unofficial stance.
You have absolutely no research which will answer to all he questions.
The only way to know about that stuff is to get into that sport as a sportsmen, and that is what Pudzianowski (used to be the strongest man on earth) said when asked about steroids.
Steroids it's not a only world of bodybuilders.
many things that I said before were misunderstood just because some ppl got upset about my dissing ...
Nevermind, I'm not gonna persuade you cause you probably thinks that I'm taking away this gold medal from Americans saying that pro sportsmen are on "drugs".
Jesus - I've been here long enough, and still people does not recognize my posting.
- americans deserved it. They worked as hard as they could to redeem themselves and they deserved it. And nothing will change that esp. a talking by some guy from poland
I want to say it one more time.
You lied when you said there was no outside testing of NBA basketball players.
Boo hoo I lied
Five players this year on one occasion? These basketball players have been tested by the US Anti-Doping Agency this year:
Carmelo Anthony
Shane Battier
Christopher Bosh
Elton Brand
Kobe Bryant
Huge amount I'm telling ya!
The US Anti-Doping Agency?
Who pick the players and when?
What test were made?
And wtf am I oracle or something?
I lied - GMAB.
You know these all anti-doping "testers" are way behind the laboratories which a inventing new steroids. Not being on the lists.
And this ocuress after years.
Not on one occasion. Do you just like lying or are you an really this stupid?Five players this year on one occasion?
Huge amount I'm telling ya!
How often are Polish athletes tested? Are their names listed on a website for even the most ignorant, stupid person to see?
Yes, the ones who have been testing US athletes for years. The US Anti-Doping Agency?
It's random, just as it is for most Olympic sports.Who pick the players and when?
You either lied or are spectacularly ignorant. Neither is relly defensible here. And wtf am I oracle or something?
I lied - GMAB.
Considering you are completely ignorant or lying about everything else, one can only assume the same for this claim as well. You know these all anti-doping "testers" are way behind the laboratories which a inventing new steroids. Not being on the lists.
And this ocuress after years.
Go look up the USADA's site and educate yourself so maybe you'll stop looking like a stereotype propagated by a few centuries' worth of Polish jokes.
It's one thing to talk about a guy like Barry Bonds and compare how much buffer he was at 40 vs. 35.
It's a totally stupid argument to use that with guys who were 18 and then point to them bigger at 23 and say that steroids were obviously the cause.
, I grew 2 inches and added a lot more bulk to my frame while I was in college. And that was without working out being part of my job or having the advice of professional trainers.
So they picked only this players few times?
[I'm stupid Kori said that]
Is that an argument in that conversation? How often are Polish athletes tested? Are their names listed on a website for even the most ignorant, stupid person to see?
It's not related IMO
.Yes, the ones who have been testing US athletes for years
I see
I bet it isIt's random, just as it is for most Olympic sports.
And again you've got problem with reading or understanding the point here.
It's about passing the test not making them.
All that anti-doping is bull of crap. Not me but sportsmen can say that.
Where is a lie?You either lied or are spectacularly ignorant. Neither is relly defensible here.
I might be not correct, but lied?
[you are a kid?]
Considering you are completely ignorant or lying about everything else, one can only assume the same for this claim as well.
Yeah I lie, I steal, I'm ignorant, I curse - all in all I'm a bad man.
I admitted so now all sports are clean esp. pro players
You can sleep now peacefully
You are using stereotypes.go look up the USADA's site and educate yourself so maybe you'll stop looking like a stereotype propagated by a few centuries' worth of Polish jokes.
Yup like athletes were using drugs on 70s and 80s and then stopped just because there were tests. But the records are being broken every bigger compe ion. Human gens are better and better I assume.
Clear or cream?
So you didn't look up the website to educate your own stupid ass.
Sure it is. You must know everything about the Polish anti-doping process. Is that an argument in that conversation?
It's not related IMO
.
No, you don't.I see
I will take that bet, since you are too stupid to have already found out it's true.I bet it is![]()
Then why do you keep going on about the testing process? Because you are stupid? And again you've got problem with reading or understanding the point here.
It's about passing the test not making them.
Polish sportsmen? All that anti-doping is bull of crap. Not me but sportsmen can say that.
As I said, you are either lying or are completely ignorant.Where is a lie?
I might be not correct, but lied?
[you are a kid?]
Never had any trouble sleeping.
Yeah I lie, I steal, I'm ignorant, I curse - all in all I'm a bad man.
I admitted so now all sports are clean esp. pro players
You can sleep now peacefully
It's up to you to prove the drug use.You are using stereotypes.
Yup like athletes were using drugs on 70s and 80s and then stopped just because there were tests. But the records are being broken every bigger compe ion. Human gens are better and better I assume.
We're waiting for all your proof that the NBA players in the Olympics are using steroids.
OK
So I got insults on me on Poland
You can't find something more original then saying "you are stupid"?
I realy though I was talking to grown man - but I see some kid throwing insults and missing a point
I have no time explaining what is going on in sports in GENERAL. U R using a polish card? what for? Childish behavior.
I said everything what I wanted to say.
I'm not an expert. I shared my opinion and got fine answers I must say they deeply fascinated me.
The "stupid" argument and "polish" argument were the strongest it almost persuaded me [sarcasm]
It just fits so well. You can't find something more original then saying "you are stupid"?
Are you not Polish? Do Poles not participate in Olympic sports? Since you are asking these questions of Americans about American athletes, I can ask you about Polish athletes. The difference is I actually found out about the drug testing here, I didn't whine about being American.I have no time explaining what is going on in sports in GENERAL. U R using a polish card? what for? Childish behavior.
I said you could do simple things to avoid being branded with the stereotype propagated through Polish jokes. You did not do them. That was pretty stupid.
D Wadeeeeeeeeeeeeee! My man came up huge.
Who do you sit? Do you sit Melo, Lebron, Kobe? Do you give Dwill and Paul less minutes? Which wing players do you play less in a 40 minute game?
The fact is that they went with a pretty limited rotation. You had about 9 players getting into the active rotation which left out Boozer, Redd and Prince for the most part but thats not a bad thing. Neither of those guys lacks ability, but when you stack them up to the players that actually played they're the obvious candidates to ride the pine.
One thing team USA did right this time was to go with an actual rotation as opposed to an all star game mentality of playing everyone in every game. Redd may not have gotten a lot of minutes in game, but there's no indication he was bitter about it by any means. In fact it looked like exactly the opposite. I think the guys that didn't play much understand the reasoning behind it and it didn't seem to dampen their emotion in any way.
Kidd was the weak link, we coulda gone Paul-Redd-Wade-Bron-Bosh or something along those lines.
It just makes me worry about the ability of our team to acquire pure shooters in the future.
Hopefully im just worrying over nothing.
