Pure shooters work well in FIBA when you have a coach with a FIBA mindset, who will work an offense around getting them shots. The US has never really had that kind of coach, so that guys who are mostly just shooters don't get a lot of burn.

If we go with whottt's darling D'Antoni, guys like Redd will see a lot of time (and the defense will go to tt).

D'antoni's not my darling...I just think he's a of a lot better International Coach than he is an NBA one...and he's a decent NBA coach. It's not ridiculous if he is named the head coach IMO.


Really...if you get anything close to this team repping the US in the future, this means with real PG's and real shooting, not to mention a couple of guys like LBJ and Wade..it doesn't really matter who the coach is...but they aren't going to like Pop hammering on them extra hard about playing D. I was talking about sports in general [probably seventh time I write this]
I was talking about testing being fake thing because of this thing being suspected.
Known fact is that after many years testing laboratories found out that a guy which was at the olimpics 10 yers ago was chemically "feeded"
So the laboratories which are inventing new doping are years ahead of the testing ones - and they do not care much as there are commisions which can say who to ban.

If I lied I would have known everything. WTF am I an oracle to know everything?

My experience with sports, voices of people involved in it (sportsmen, jurnalists, colleges using funny things, do antary movies) gave me a picture of pro sports.
