He knows how the UFC works better than most. He knows better than to back out of a fight this late unless it is completely unavoidable.

Thats an interesting point of view and if you are right then I wonder if he will ever be able to get his head right again. This game is so mental that such a problem might wreck him forever which I think is what happened to the Crow...such a promising career that was ruined by a weak mental outlook.

Agree on both counts but this guy has done so much in his career and is such a professional (in the ring) that I want to give him as much of a benefit of a doubt as possible.
But leonard brings up an interest idea. A true legit injury that he is scared of whereas not too long ago wouldn't have bothered him so much.

He ducked Fitch. He may not have been offered that specific fight to turn it down, but to ask specifically for a fight that ISN'T Fitch -- is ducking.

I've been eager to see more of Kim and Yoshida...hopefully Yoshida gets a fight in the next month or 2.
