You've got the Sunni tribal leaders saying "we fvcked up not voting", you've got the big Sunni Scholar group that basically dictates Iraqi Sunni policy saying "enough of the sectarian violence, the insurgents are the problem."

Time to start running Zarqawi. You too Ba'athists. It's sad so many people have died over there the last 3 days, but it looks like their blood will have been shed for the progress of their country.

The two main candidates so far had been the former Pentagon (news - web sites) favorite Ahmad Chalabi, a secular Shiite, and Ibrahim al-Jaafari, the interim vice president.

I guess Chalabi was right all along. He does have popular support.
