I just got the game and for some reason I can't get the graphics to look like they do on the gameplay movies... WTF?? In fact, the graphics look pretty darn awful which I know shouldn't be the case. What could be ing them up? Video Card Drivers? what?

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured out the problem. For all of you having texture problems with Mass Effect (PC), try turning off Film Grain and Motion Blur. It did the trick for me. By the way, if you're also having trouble with the pesky shadows looking sort of glitchy, go to the BIOengine.ini (always make a backup copy first) and in the Engine.GameEngine section change the DepthBias attribute from the default 0.012000 to 0.030. This should get rid of the glitchy shadows without actually having to turn off Dynamic Shadowing. Hope that helped.

    Great game.

The gameplay/movie flawless transition is pretty sweet.

Definitely turn off grain, and even motion blur.

The only ty part about Mass Effect for the PC is it is riddled with crashes that Bioware will not even address. I could only play for 2 hours then I would have to reboot.
