WTF? Is it just me or are there re edly good deals on video games at pawn shops?
I picked up R6: Vegas 2, and GTA IV for 15 dollars a pop. They also had some other pretty new games for 15 bucks as well... the owners typically don't know what they have or dont differentiate between new and old games so they are all pretty much 1 price... not to mention often times people are pawning games they stole (makes me feel a little bad... but the damn game is there) and theyre in perfect condition. The R6V2 still had the damn security tape on the bottom.
Ive always been meaning to check them out, but kept on procrastinating. now i plan on hitting them up every week or so if i can find any more good deals.
I go to pawn shops all the time.
I just bought a camera that was on sale for 199.99 (216.00 with tax) at Office Depot, regular price 249.99, I found the same camera at a pawn shop off SW Military, I can't remember the sticker price but it was 25% off and the total came out to 120.00, that's a savings of about 100.00....
Needless to say I took the other camera back to Office Depot.
I'd be interested to know what pawn shop you are referring to.

Then I think someone from gamestop or some ebayer or retailer raided the place because the next day all the games were gone.
I once got a $60 watch for $350 at a pawn shop! I think that's the last time I've been to one.

ive been lookign for a zune... but i can't find one that isnt a little bit scratched. im visiting my grandma on the southside today so maybe i can hit up the mecca of pawn shops... SW military drive.

Considering they only give you 2 dollars per game 15 dollars is a 13 dollar profit.

Every musician I've ever known peruses pawn shops regularly for instruments and recording equipment and are always finding some really good deals.
