NFL Pick 'Em Question...

I just now noticed that we're going by the point spread on our picks. Someone needs to explain that to me, I thought we were just picking to see who would win or lose.

I'm not picking for the spread in any of the picks in this forum...... the picks on this page, or the suicide picks.

The Spread only applies on the Yahoo NFL Pick 'Em League.

What are you asking Pooh? What picking against the spread means?

Here is a simple explanation. If a team is favored by 3, and you pick them. The team has to win by 4 for you to win (3 is a tie). If you pick the underdog, if they lose by less than 3 (or win), you win.

Yeah I checked out the help file yesterday from yahoo. I didn't know we were playing that, I thought it was just a straight pick 'em. But I'll figure it out now, thanks.

When I posted the signup info for the league I clearly stated it was against the spread. Sorry guys.
