Why does it seem like everybody knows where I'm at? I always seem to get hit with a nade (literally) from being tossed 4 blocks away! I have UVJammer as one of my perks so I don't understand how they are finding me.

Another question, how do you unlock the M16 fully automatic weapon? Its a good gun but I hate that burst fire. I'm only a rank 20 btw.

Because people are insanely good and they do know where you're at.

If I have three grenades I sometimes toss them into camping spots I know people like, whether I know someone's there or not. Once you know the maps and how to judge your throws it gets pretty easy to lob grenades across a map into a specific building or corner. If you're playing free for all don't camp unless you're good with claymores or want to get eaten alive.

And on deathmatch people just chuck those es at random as soon as they spawn. It's a real problem on certain maps.

Buy a turbo controller... it's not a fully automatic gun and you can't unlock it to be one. A fully automatic M16 is an M4 more or less. I didn't and haven't played with the M16 for a long time, but for a while it was my favorite gun. It's hands down the most powerful gun in the game IMO (not literally, but in terms of ease of use, the M16 just pwns people). With Stopping Power one burst to the torso, chest, neck or head is a kill. And I always use steady aim with it, so I can rock an Acog but still get close kills from the hip.

    1) People throw nades in ''hot spots'' meaning places where people like to frequently walk through or camp.
    2) m16 is the strongest gun in the game and cheapest
    3) another reason they find you are X4 ear phones that allow you to hear surround sound type like audio through a headset

But I've picked up M16's from the ground and they were fully automatic. I figured they were guns dropped by dead guys but I guess they were just goodies huh?

Nope. Unless you've somehow stumbled onto an incredibly fortunate and previously unknown glitch, you've picked up M4's. They look almost identical, but the M16 barrel is wider.

But I think what really bothered me is paying money for new maps. In my gaming experience they were always free so I was just kind of suprised at this. I'm already getting bored of the original COD4 maps so I'll most likely give in and cough up the in $12 to get the 1000 gamerpoints.
+1. Seriously. My entire gaming life additional content has been free, a thank-you to the players. The Xbox360 and Microsoft's death-grip on the market changed everything. As usual they came in and implemented a system that makes you depend on them and give them money (or rather, the developers with the cost passed to the gamers).

I own nothing pre-2003 that I had to pay for things like new maps.

Developers need to stop being re ed and follow Blizzard's model better. Most of them just want to make WoW-clones when the real reason that their content is so popular and their games so profitable is their close relationship to the gamer. Fast and free patches, free legacy support for games that are getting old now, free maps, free content, well-done expansions, etc, etc, etc.

Contrast this with everything under the EA games label which is the total opposite. Slow patches, expensive content, expansions announced weeks after game release (WTF), crappy support, etc, etc, etc.

ANYWHO, times are changing, and I don't mind paying for most content. I'm wary of so many game developers nowadays, I only play stuff from Blizzard/Valve/Square-Enix as a 'loyal' customer.
