Spurs up 4 with 30.5 to go.
You are not watching the same game as I am Frenchise.
This isn't about trust, this is about Tony playing like tonight while Beno was rolling. Beno has played down the stretch and won games for us this year, so the experience issue isn't valid.
I love Tony's game and the way he's been playing lately, but he shouldn't have seen the court tonight in the fourth.
Spurs up 4 with 30.5 to go.
Manu to line!!!! Manu good, Manu good, Manu MVP tonight.
10-11 and team 23-26 at line tonight!!!!!
Mmhh..does Utah have a good 3PT shooter?
any updates about TD?...
As of right now TD is day to day
Manu deserved a triple-double tonight
I don't agree. Experience is needed in these moments, no matter what you have been doing. However, you are right to say beno should have played more in this game.
Tim, Manu and Tony are now at levels in their games where they should be in the game at the end regardless of how they've played that game. Tony is rolling right now (up until tonight) and you don't want to break his confidence by benching him in the fourth quarter of a regular season game against the Utah Jazz.
If we lose, we lose, but Tony's got to know he's a leader now and a good chunk of the Spurs' fate rests in his hands.
Manu saved what Pop almost ed up.
Where did experience get Tony all game tonight? McLeod was lighting his ass up at both ends.
Jesus Christ, what did experience get us a few years back in the playoffs when Terry Porter and all the old people with "experience" were ing it up vs. LA?
Beno has played entire fourth quarters for us earlier this year leading the team to victory no less, the "experience" argument is a re ed one.
You go with the hot hand, and tonight it's Beno. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
Well looks like they sealed the deal with those FTs...
Another win for the Spurs.
experience= 2Ft to close the game
would beno have hit those two FTs at the end of the game ? Not sure...
Raja Bell is a punk ass little (sorta like Walton).
Manu hits four free throws in the last minute to ice it. Thank you very much.
Is it just me or is Bell enjoying fouling Manu too much?
not so fast, AK47 with the 3! SPurs need to hit an Ft to seal it
27-30 line and MANU hero of game.
If Beno was still in, Tony wouldn't have had the chance to blow the 9 point lead we built up with Beno at point.would beno have hit those two FTs ? Not sure...
In short, we wouldn't be shooting FTs with the game on the line.
LOOK, Tony is a great player. I am still bitter he didn't make the A-S game. But tonight Beno >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Tony, and I don't see why we are even having this discussion.
Oh, and Jerry Sloan is a . Spurs up 7 with one second left, and you call timeout? you Jerry Sloan.
the hot hand is Manu tonightso whatever PG feed him

It's not about experience, it's about grooming Tony into a leader and a clutch performer. It's about letting him know that he's too mature now to have a Speedy Claxton save his ass when he's playing poorly. That's more important than one game.
You go with the hot hand if it means putting Bowen or Rasho on the bench, but we live and we die by Tony, Manu and Tim.
Spurs shoot over 90% from FT line in a game that TD misses most of, coincidence? Hardly.![]()
