Spurs are what 41-0 when they score over 100? Awesome!!!
Beno IS way better FT shooter than TP.

Manu Again !!
If we're still having to do all that psychobabble with Tony, we've got problems.It's not about experience, it's about grooming Tony into a leader and a clutch performer. It's about letting him know that he's too mature now to have a Speedy Claxton save his ass when he's playing poorly. That's more important than one game.
Tonight we almost died by Tony's. You go with the hot hand *no matter* who it is and who they are playing the same position as.You go with the hot hand if it means putting Bowen or Rasho on the bench, but we live and we die by Tony, Manu and Tim.
Basketball 101, go with the hot hand until they are no longer hot.
83-87: Parker enters the game
94-101: end of the game
Quit being such an idiot. Beno has finished games and hit shots/FTs earlier this year to win it.
With all the hate and juvenile "Beno can't hit FTs better than Tony" , you must be French too.

Manu always play well in the 4th even if he plays badly before.
Do we must bench him for the entire 4th if he played like in the begining of the game?
I understand what you're saying for sure but you have TD 5/15 5rbs and Horry 7/8 8rbds and a game tie.... you bench TD?
At the one minute mark, it was 93-91. In the last minute you had:94-101: end of the game
* missed Tony jumper
* Six Manu FTs
* two Tony FTs
Wow, Tony had one of an impact there.
Yes IF his subs ution player played way better than he was.
I put them on the court together.I understand what you're saying for sure but you have TD 5/15 5rbs and Horry 7/8 8rbds and a game tie.... you bench TD?
It's not psycho babble, it's how you use star-level players.If we're still having to do all that psychobabble with Tony, we've got problems.
So if Tim Duncan is cold you close the game with Horry and Rasho? Bull. Only Don Nelson would pull something like that.Tonight we almost died by Tony's. You go with the hot hand *no matter* who it is and who they are playing the same position as.
Basketball 101, go with the hot hand until they are no longer hot.
If we lose because of Tony, it's a learning experience he can take with him to the next game, and into his future as the Spurs starting Point Guard and floor leader.
Depends on what whoever else is running at his position is doing. Tonight, Beno >>>>>>>> Tony at *both ends*.Manu always play well in the 4th even if he plays badly before.
Do we must bench him for the entire 4th if he played like in the begining of the game?
If they're both playing well, yes.So if Tim Duncan is cold you close the game with Horry and Rasho?
Bad example Spurminator, I've watched us blow many a game because Pop continued to force it into Duncan when he was having a 5-18 night.
I don't remember beno hitting clutch shots or fts this season.
I am not saying that TP had a great game, he was really ty tonight and we know he still sometimes can be. I am just saying that Pop was right to put him on in the final minutes.
Would u put Duncan or Gino off inthe last minutes because they had a bad game ? Sure u wont...
PS: I am french and i dont give a it bothers u
smart answer
so get my opinion about tonight as TD was off![]()
1) it was a fourth point lead.
2) we were leading by two points because we commited 3 TO and none of them was Tp reponsability.
3) Tp had more impact in this time than 3 of 5 Spurs players
More future games are going to come down to Tony Parker than Beno Udrih. You put him out there at the end of the game and you make him figure out a way to win the game.
Benching him is coddling. He can handle the pressure,... and if he can't, he needs to learn.
I also would have put the two (beno and TP) of them on the court at the end
Well, then I'm probably wasting my time... we'll have to agree to disagree. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone else in this forum who would bench Tim Duncan at the end of the game because Robert Horry was hitting a few shots.If they're both playing well, yes.

In the last minutes of the game, it doesn't matter what you've done in the previous 46. I want my best players out there. You don't have to force plays to Duncan or Tony if they're cold, but you'd still want them out there to keep defenses on notice.
1. No, it was two points. Damn.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/playby...06024&period=4
2. Wrong again. We had a total of TWO turnovers the last five minutes of the game.1:10 Raja Bell made Free Throw 2 of 2. 91-93
1:10 San Antonio Full Timeout.
0:56 91-93 Tony Parker missed running jumper.
0:54 Mehmet Okur defensive rebound. 91-93
3. That's not saying very much. Manu saved our ass, PERIOD. Don't even try to give any credit to Tony, unless it's for staying out of Manu's way.
This is the same dumbass at ude as Pop has used to blow countless games, including two playoff series to LA.Well, then I'm probably wasting my time... we'll have to agree to disagree. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone else in this forum who would bench Tim Duncan at the end of the game because Robert Horry was hitting a few shots.

Get over it. You don't put a rookie in a close game situation like this, no mater how "hot" he is playing that night. If Tim Duncan was having an off night, and Robert Horry was "hot", would you BENCH Tim Duncan in the closing minutes of a close game? If you say YES, then your'e crazy.
There is a lot to be said for experience and confidence and faith in your starting line-up. There's a reason why Tony got the starting PG position for a top team. I would hope that with the experience he has had, he would be able to use it in situations like this and still come up a) a solid play/assist b) a clutch shot c) handle the ball and play Defense.
PS. GO MANU!! AWESOME GAMEI hope he can carry it over to Tues and Wed.
