Better my ass..
Duncan is ing clutch and at the age of 26, Duncan was dominating the NBA.
Parker has pathetically ridden the coattails of Duncan for 3 championships...
Parker channelling the spirit of Nick Anderson with the missed FT's. I hope he can shake it off, as he's clearly the best player on the team right now.
Duncan's a shadow of his former self at this point. The dropoff between this year and last is staggering. Father time rules us all.
Better my ass..

tp lead the team 14 straight games in points and assist
tonight he had 2 less rebounds then duncan
I've seen him miss them too many times in the 4th quarter. Like I said I don't care what Timvp says and what percentage he shows me TP FLAT OUT sucks in a tight game at the free throw line.
Parker won't be effected by this, he's to mentally strong.
so showing stats saying he does not suck
does not prove to you are wrong
so why should anyone try to agrue with you
tp used to suck at free throws late but he is way better now then better
Come on, we wouldn't even have been in this game if it wasn't for Tony.
Jeez, calm down.
.
That's not fair.
Why did Pop go for offensive players in the off season then? Should of looked at defense in the off season if these guys are going to choke it up.
Instead we got a reaching Mason that can't hit a shot. I had no problem with Mason at back up PG if that got his offense going, but unfortunately his offense is stinking now and SpursBrazil called it a few games ago that the Spurs should have ended that experiment.
If playing back up PG can't get Mason's offense going and more productive then like SpursBrazil said that needs to end NOW. Get George Hill back there cause if Mason can't score I would much rather have George's defense out there on the court. I love defense and love that Hill is playing hard and aggressive on that end of the court.
btw this NBATV crew is good. Steve Smith is pretty good. I hope he doesn't feel pissed at the Spurs organization for benching him in 2003 and still has hard feelings about that. Steve seems like a good guy and good analyst.
LOL what about crunchtime? I'd rather have Shaq shooting my FT's at the end of the game than Tony...
people bashing TP after hes been carrying the team for the last 2 months and has been by far the most consistent spur this year are idiots.
with that said, thats why pop has the ball in manu's hands at the end of games.
chokejobs like this happen, we were due.
accept it and move on.
So if Finley would have hit his 2 FTs while sucking ass during all the game, he sould be praised and he would have deserved more credit than TP despite 7 pts 2/9 2rbd 2 ast vs 25 pts 12/23 7 reb, 8 ast???
Cone on, get over yourself.
tp usually does not shot those free throws late do to manu
manu gets more calls then tp
that is why pop goes to manu
tp gets used to it
he will make them
Exactly, and i agree people (like me) can be hard on Tony, but that choke job was inexcusable. I don't like it when the French poodles come in bunches and trash Manu for turning over the ball or some stupid play.
Manu is clutch and i'll be pissed if Pop defers to Tony in the playoffs.
going to tp instead of manu can be good
why they will expect pop to go to manu
Stop with your pathetic excuses got... It's beyond embarrassing to watch you defend Tony's scrotum all day...
Manu is clutch period and Pop goes with him for a reason. Unlike Tony, Manu doesn't shrivel under pressure...
TP IS NOT ELITE until he learns to hit free throws in crunch time. When you shoot 80% and miss them in crunch time that is called a choke.
Tim misses them too, but he doesn't shoot 80%. I'd rather have Tim and Shaq right now shoot those in crunch time that TP. Tim I feel better with at the line.
I hope your right Ducks. I thought Tony was going to show everyone tonight that he is legit. He choked it though.
Unlike the Frenchies, Manu doesn't shrivel under pressure and hide for cover..
he missed 4 fts in a in regular season game. ur gonna throw a guy whos been carrying this team on his back for the last 2 months under the bus over a regular season game?
x1 Did you guys not see him at the end leaving the court? He was bearly moving and looked to about falll over. TP put it all out there tonight.
Manu has not missed anywhere near the amount TP has.
You are right though that Pop always gives it to Manu.
Do you want to know why he always gives it to Manu that's because Tony might have gotten to the free throw line earlier in the 4th at say the 6 minute mark and Pop sees him miss a free throw then I'd say at that point he says that I'm going to give the ball to Manu so I don't have to watch Tony miss more free throws.
That is some fickle .
