people bashing TP after hes been carrying the team for the last 2 months and has been by far the most consistent spur this year are idiots.

with that said, thats why pop has the ball in manu's hands at the end of games.

chokejobs like this happen, we were due.

    accept it and move on.
    Welcome to my world.

I've been trying to explain things in these terms all season ,but no-one listens...

TP IS NOT ELITE until he learns to hit free throws in crunch time. When you shoot 80% and miss them in crunch time that is called a choke.

Tim misses them too, but he doesn't shoot 80%. I'd rather have Tim and Shaq right now shoot those in crunch time that TP. Tim I feel better with at the line.
you can be elite and miss free throws
duncan has never been great in that area
td greatest power foward in game

So if Finley would have hit his 2 FTs while sucking ass during all the game, he sould be praised and he would have deserved more credit than TP despite 7 pts 2/9 2rbd 2 ast vs 25 pts 12/23 7 reb, 8 ast???

    Cone on, get over yourself.
Finley choked 10 times worse than Tony. Where am I saying I'm going to give him praise? I'd only give his praise for making two free throws and being clutch.

TP I would have give praise for the whole game and even called him a Superstar if he hit those free throws.

He hasn't reached that next level. If he can't hit free throws when it matters he's not elite.

Most nights Finley and Parker make those FT's. Tonight they didn't. It happens, but not so often it's something I'd worry about.

TD is a big man you moron. A Big man's weakest strength is freethrows and adulterators like you can't seen get that in your thick skull.

Tony is a guard and bricking ft's is like TD not posting up..

You don't get my point Ducks. Duncan does not shoot 80% and miss a lot of them in crunch time.

TP seems to miss a lot in crunch time. That is not the same.

I've said it for a long while TP was at his best at the free throw line in 2006. That is the only time I recall him making clutch free throws consistently. I think he's regressed since then. That's one of the reasons I'm calling him out.

TP has carried us the last two months. I won't dispute that. If I did that then I'd be total dip . I'm just mad with the loss.

TP has played his heart out and I'm mad we lost this game. I am sure TP is VERY, VERY mad at himself, but the other guys in that locker room need to go up to TP tonight and say sorry to him for ing playing so poorly that he had to carry their asses. I just need to vent a little bit. Tough, stupid loss. I don't think I'm off the TP bandwagon.

I'm as mad/sad as you that Tony (and Finley!) didn't make those FTs, but if he hasn't reached that next level you're talking about with all he has done this season I don't know what you're expecting from this guy. And what does "when it matters" mean? It's not like we're playing the finals right now; all in all, this was just a RS game. Once again, without Tony we're not even in the situation where we can win this game.

we are just missin 3s. our defense has been great which i think was a far greater concern going into the playoffs.

True. You said the key word defense. That is what I love most so that puts a little smile on my face lol.

It doesn't help though when guys like Mason can't hit shots and then play average defense. Mason's got to stop reaching in. That's one aspect of the defense I did not like. Other than that I thought we played tough.

No he didn't. He dominated and willed him team to championships.

BTW this isn't about Tim. He's our Franchise and he's played his heart out for the past 12 years (and winning 4 rings which i might add). Morons (more like gots) like you want to always bring up TD's flaws when some one questions Tony's Scrotum...

Pretty poor form calling out Duncan for his whole career Ducks.

You can maybe call out TD for his last two weeks of play, but calling out Duncan about missing free throws years ago is a weak take when he completely dominated.

Tim has always missed free throws while not shooting a high percentage.

TP has also missed free throws while shooting a high percentage. Don't you see the difference there?

you are the one that brought up tp missing free throws back in 2006 NOT ME
so I brought up duncan missing free throws before his prime
TP HAS NOT EVEN HIT HIS PRIME YET

DID YOU ING READ WHAT I SAID??????????

I SAID TONY WAS AT HIS BEST AT THE FREE THROW LINE, IN CRUNCH TIME, IN 2006. I THINK HE HAS REGRESSED SINCE THEN. I DIDN'T BASH ON TP FOR HIS 2006 FREE THROWS. Tim Duncan never was that good at free throws. That's why I am always on Tony for it because he showed that season he can make them and make them in crunch time consistently. Well when he had the opportunity back then he did. What is Chip doing with him cause he's getting worse since then.

Tim has not regressed he's actually get a little better at them.

What a bunch of crybabies. This wasn't a blowout to the defending champions, it was a hard fought game but we lost. period. Grow up and quit whining.
