He's not so bad. We shouldn't even be worrying about calls against the Warriors. Should have blown them out of the gym.
Good games for TP, Tim and Mase ! BTW Tp has 10 or 9 assists ?

Actually, no. Before the last few games the D had improved considerably over the last month.
Tonight's D was bad, but I think that was a case of being lulled into the opposition's style.
I think the fundamental D is there, now it's just a matter of finding the chemistry again.
Wow, Spurs win !
10 assists
now Tony have 9933 points in carerer
our D is non existent on this game. our O saved us from another embarassing loss.
Go to ...or at least don't pretend to be a Spurs fan. The dude is hurt..he's been begging to play...he'll be playing tomorrow or Friday. Go cheer for the Lakers or Suns or something, because you're not a fan of my team.
I fully agree Pop messed with the team badly, players other than Tim TP Kurt and I would say Bowen don't know what to do.
We shot 51.9% with only 9 turnovers, yet we only win by one point.
Because we gave up 14 offensive rebounds.
So why is Gooden riding the pine?
Yup, agreed. They are all wondering what the is going on right now.
Totally!![]()
A win is a win. By 1 point or 20-points. We just needed a W badly tonight. And Timmy looked pretty damn good out there in limited minutes.
My thoughts exactly. I didn't even watch most of the game, but based what i saw, this game seemed very similiar to the last 5 or 6 games we've played. Easily could have been another loss, but its obvious that with both Tim and Manu's health still in doubt going into April, this just may not be our year.
We still don't have Manu..people forget that..we're short one of our best players and our spark, and one of the only guys who can create his own shot, and can penetrate and draw attention. I mean..it's not like THIS is the WHOLE TEAM we're going to have for the playoffs.
Timmy looked phenomenal.
Tim looked better tonight that he had in a long time.
Although it was in limited minutes.
Hopefully it's a sign of better things
Ugly win, but we'll take it...$$$$$ Mason with his 5th game winner of the season!!! GO SPURS GO!!!!!![]()
Do you honestly beleive we should need Manu to beat below 500 teams?
The best I've seen Duncan look in a long time. And Turiaf is a solid defender and has given Duncan fits in the past. That was the most positive sign of the night.
Props for Mason for hitting another game winner.
Parker was solid all night.
Hopefully those shots by Bonner in the 2nd half will help him kick his shooting funk.
Thomas was good all night but choked on those missed ft's.
Mason adding on to his legacy...The ONE thing that kept this game way closer than it shouldve been was...Offensive Rebounds. That's it. Simple as that. The Warriors bigs Wright and Randolph gave the Spurs some trouble down on the block because theyre so damn tall and long. Did you see the length of that kid Randolph's arms? Craaazy. Thats really the only thing that kept the W's in the game. Well that and Timmy playing limited mins..if he's out there playing normal mins we have a bit more of a cushion.
I love Randolph. The length of him, Wright, and Biedrins is incredible.
I can't believe Nelson has handled a player so well as he has done with Randolph.
I want Kellena on the Spurs, he's a good player, and tries on D, IIRC.
Spurs used to pound the likes of Golden State with regularity.
Tonight, they tried to give it away. GS just couldn't make that last shot.
A one-pt victory over these guys is nothing to celebrate.
Please stop using the manu argument for a game against the warriors. Even without him and with Tim at 50% we have all the tool to get an easy win.
The best thing about tonight's game is Mason Jr. Great game for Roger and it should help him get his confidence back. He's definitely a tough player. Good job Roger!
Now as for the rest of the game it was pretty mediocre ball again. I don't understand it. Can the whole reason for these games be not having Manu?
I don't think it can. I just think a lot of this lazy play is on Pop. He's been screwing around all year and his team is playing lazy, sloppy and unfocused because of it. It's Pop's job to get the team to play to their potential and the Spurs are simply not playing anywhere near their potential. Pop needs to get it together cause we should be blowing out teams like this at home. We should not be going down to the wire and almost losing the game. That is poor to say the least.
But can we blame it all on Pop? Really?
A question we should all ask is, what is causing Pop to do these things with his bench? Is the team lousy because of his subs ution patterns? Or are his subs ution patterns the way they are because the team was lousy to begin with?
It's kind of a chicken or the egg kind of thing ...
