Yes,they can score easily.
Warriors's D is the worst of the NBA.Warriors and defense are opposite words.
But TP and Mason's D is really bad too.Ellis scores when he wants
I stand by my pick. Spurs will keep it close but lose late in the fourth. If I could, I would bet real American v-bookie dollars on this one.

Please. Nut up man. Tim only played 4-5 mins. Manu isnt out there. The GS State team can score like crazy. We're fine...
What easy W is that?
When we can't beat the Thunder, we're in so much trouble that I can't really do justice to it.
I've never seen this out of Tim Duncan. Tim Duncan is at best now a role player and can try to defend the paint.
He shoots 40% from the field, can score maybe 12 points and grab 6 rebounds.
And there sure as is no need at all to double team him.
At this point in time , Gooden >>>>>>>>>>>> Tim Duncan.
That's not good.
We're in trouble. First round exit.
We’re a lottery team without Tim and Manu![]()
Everybody needs to calm down. Whatever happened to standing behind your team through thick and thin?
The Spurs are playing with 1.5 of the Big Three. Maybe not even that. And we're right in the thick of things.
Winning a le isn't supposed to be easy, and it doesn't get handed to anybody.
I'll always be a Spurs fan, it's Duncan's team. But the game will lose something for me when he retires. And I've been an NBA fan since Bird's rookie season. I've just never seen a player like him and I know there will never be another one.
Hey, that's not even a hard call. That's just something that tells us whether or not a person is a realist or is a total homer.
I agree with the call as do all the sane members on the board.
I wish it weren't true and I will still cheer for my team, the Spurs.
But the Spurs are now literally without exaggeration at this point in time one of the worst teams in basketball.
That is not an overstatement.
this is tps team sorry
duncan last year
tp this year
We are a lottery team without TD.And we are going to be without him early if his knees can't improve.
Next years we are going to see how good Pop is
Or Manu, or Ian, or Gist, or Hairston or Hill at PG, or Bowen getting serious minutes. Get away from the ledge, this team is nowhere near full strength. It is dissapointing how they've been playing so far. I want Hill to go back to his attacking self. He did drive once, but got stuffed.
And I'm glad Pop doesn't read ST. For every good thread there or 20 re ed ones. If we had coached this season, the Spurs would be lottery-bound for sure.![]()

come on spurs put the warriors away
i want to go to the movies![]()
Wait a sec ... aren't you a Mavs fan? Isn't that what the < stands for? Or is it >? I don't know.
We don't have the firepower to stay compe ive with these teams, and this year's squad doesn't play nearly good enough defense to make up. Throw in the injuries and poor play as of late, and we're looking at a quick 1-and-done in the playoffs.
Now ... if they get healthy and play better, they might make it to a WCF showdown with the Lakers, which will end badly for us.
But ... let's hope we're wrong. eh?
Pratice what you preach, Reverend. Calm down indeed. Criticizing or even feeling despondent about our team does not equal not standing behind your team, unless you're a really simple person who only sees things in binary terms.
Ime and Bruce starting the 3rd quarter
I still love the Spurs and I will keep cheering for them. So, I'm not going away from my team. They will always be my team.
But I am just saying in terms of performance right now at this point in the season this is how the team looks to me.
Question though:what exactly does full strength mean if Tim Duncan will be a 12 point 6 rebound 40 % field goal player for the rest of this season ?
To me, if he is in this condition, then we are nowhere near full strength even if everybody else were 100% healthy.
With everybody else fully healthy and with the lineup changes (as you suggest) and this kind of Tim Duncan, we may be at best a middle of the road team and not the worst team in basketball.
But we don't have everybody healthy now, we are making poor decisions in terms of who is playing and at what position and Tim is playing at a 12 point 6 rebound 40 % level. When all of those things are true, then we are one of the worst teams in basketball.

Sounds like we need a round of "GO SPURS GO!" OR "Come on, Dammit! Play Ball!"
Even without Tim and Manu, this team has all when it needs to destroy the warriors.
I blame Pop for messing around the team. IMO we just need to let Gooden on the floor and put systems in place to post up the guy and not letting him shooting jumpers, Bowen needs to play solid minutes to shut down Ellis and let Hill running the point when TP is not here !
it's less than. I'm a math person but I encounter this all the time.
No worries, you aren't the only one.
The mouth opens towards the bigger meal because the crocodile is hungry !
I love the Spurs and I hate the Mavericks and I definitely hope that we are both wrong! I really want our team to win and I'm not going to stop cheering for them in any event ! We've had too many great moments that these guys have given us, in particular Tim Duncan !
