L4D is awesome. I've had it for a few months and it has ceased to get old for me yet. Plus I hear through the grapevine that there is some DLC coming soon that might add I think one new level, though I think the PC gamers might be getting the better end of that deal.
Dead rising
Is it much better than the original content? I was extremely disappointed by GTA4 even though I was a huge huge fan of the series before it.
Braid is sweet. It's a side scrolling puzzle game with great graphics and sweet music.
My favorite games are still Bioshock, Dead Space and L4D. I've just started playing Bioshock again, great game. I also just finished playing through Dead Space for maybe the 7th or 8th time and I love that game as well. Can't miss with either game.
braid will require him to actually pay $$$. He isn't down to pay money for games comprende
i would say its aslight better than the original, i liked starting off as a badass biker, i havent finished it all yet, but so far its a ing sweet.
You should just download the demo then.
speakinf of L4D... damn they changed the out of the roof of Mercy Hospital... at first they just cut off the hiding spot under the walkway to the helipad (I'm guessing because it was waaay too easy to just camp there with your squad and not get touched by a single infected)... but now they completely redesigned the entire damn roof. I guess it keeps things fresh.

no idea... it's valve... they usually take their time with putting good stuff out. i'd assume mid spring. not 100% sure though.

DLC is always free on PC. Add on packs are different, but i couldn't imagine paying $50 for a game and then additionally for enhancements that i could get free.
New Game Informer states that there is a new DLC survival pack coming out for the PC and 360There will be a new survival mode where you have to fight waves of zombies, and two new versus campaigns (which I'm sure will be just the 2 levels that weren't included with the original game). It will come out sometime in spring, and be free.
I just can't get that into L4D. My brother loves it.
I haven't played L4D, but I saw a video of it the other day and it totally was different from what I expected the game to be. I was picturing multiplayer half life with zombies and needless, what I saw was different. I may have to consider picking that game up.
Co-sign. Friends had to strong arm me into playing it.
Not an RTS guy.
I loved playing medieval: total war like 5 years ago... the games kinda out paced my computer so i stopped playing them. great strategy/nation building game.
not to mention you learn a load of history by reading about the different factions.

It isnt an RTS, per say. Anyway, Im not here to try and pimp the game.
If you have a half decent computer (my badass baby was stolen, now Im using an old Intel 2.8 single core, 2 gb of ram and one nvidia 6800 vga), you can play it fine.
D/L the demo (if there is one) and give it a try. Its worth it. You dont like it, delete it.
