The adjustments I really want Pop to make for Game 2:
starters:
PG Bonner
SG Oberto
SF Kurt Thomas
PF George Hill
C Jacque Vaughn
Upside: Michael Finley had a great game. Duncan can still play as the team's best player.
Downside: Matt Bonner should be the Spurs' waterboy. Parker played like in the 2nd half.

Thank pop too.. and bonner... and vaughn for just being on the spurs bench.
This can interview a lot better than that one who interviewed Rose.
Two no-names who had career nights..no big deal here...the Spurs lost Game 1 in 2003, 2005, and 2007 and we all saw how those years turned out.
Series' are best of 7.
Why is it that Dirk is almost always the most intelligent-sounding interview in a foreign league?
all those en 3's swished and still lose, WTF?????
im not gonna make fun of the Spurs to much cause they are without a key player, but if Barea can somewhat neutralize Parker like he did tonight, there's no way this isnt a sweep
l8r
There is no excuse for TP to being tired! Give me a break! He's younger than all of them and Timmy came to play with injured knees and all! Parker simply gave up and let that ing Barea school him! WTF! Bonner also contributed to the loss with ing Pop who continues to play this worthless jackass! Why not play Hill and Oberto! This is so ridiculous! ! ! ! !
lebron>>>>jacque vaughn
Idiot. There is no scenario, barring major injury, under which the Spurs get swept. Lose the series, yes, get swept, no, not even if your beloved Barea plays like he did tonight every night.
Actually, they had been hitting them all game...but the Spurs have no answer for the Mavs bench...none...Mavs will sweep.
oh, i can definitely see this being a sweep. with pop coaching like this, he's practically guaranteeing it.
+1 This will be a sweep, and Game 4 in Dallas will be a 25+ point blowout.
Amazing. We gave up offensive rebounds while playing big. Not a good sign. I look at it as effort.
No excuse for us to give up offensive rebounds while getting none, when we are playing big.
Then pop's plan for getting us out of a jam is going small.
Result: more offensive rebounds for dallas.
Offensive Rebounds and JJ Barea's penetration lost us this game.
I am very dissapointed in Tony Parker. When we started to let the game slip in the early 4th quarter, he started forcing the issue, and was the one mostly guarding Barea when he went awol. When he forced the issue, he clanked every time, and the offense became very disjointed.
We needed parker to play like a superstar. Tonight, he was only a star.
Duncan's magic kept this from being a blowout.
Amazing he never got to the line, against dallas, at home.
I think tp was agressive then got ticked he was not getting called for the fouls
He looks better than AJ too. He's really stabilizing that Mavs team and has them playing cool.
you know what. Maybe Pop has been talking to Avery. I hope he is not getting advise from AJ.
Dallas bench worked the Spurs, this is gonna get ugly if we don't get anything from someone other than Timmy/Tony....
Really? He's been singlehandedly carrying the team for about 6 weeks...
Parker did NOT give up, and in saying that you show that you are not a Spurs fan. Anyone who says the players "gave up" is not a fan of this team.
We lost this game on D and the boards, we were outplayed in the 4th, suck it up and deal with it.
JJ Barrea is good because he's so little. He is so tiny, that a normal players offensive moves are offensive fouls against him.
I dont agree about dallas sweeping the spurs but with the way pop coached this game.. if he continues coaching like that the rest of this series then the spurs will have no chance to win the series.
Bad lost.
I am piss not because we lost, but that we could have won and we just gave it away.
Agreed. At least Carlisle plays his back-up point.
Go Spurs Go!!!!!
Bwhahahahhahaha!!!!!
I am loving this drama. On a serious note, way to go Mavs! What a huge road win!
