I'm having mixed emotions about watching Parker use this much energy early on. He had Bonner wide open for a three on one of his drives and didn't even look that direction. He has to find a way to get his teammates involved. He can't do it by himself.

the team can't pussy-out and rely on the refs, if you're gonna lose it when they take your hands out, go stronger, it's the Playoffs.
Parker has 15 points in the first quarter; how much stronger can he go?

As great of a start TD and TP are having, I hope they don't wear out as the game continues.

Hopefully our bench (whom haven't taken many shots in fairness to them) will give us the extra push.

If you don't see Hill when Barea comes in, you can start to worry.

So given the Spurs' ability to give up double digit leads, should we be hoping they just keep the lead around 9 as long as possible?
I have been thinking the same thing. Almost would rather the game stay close the way the Spurs play.

I think the game will only be Spurs with a 4 point cushion at half time. We're a two man team right now....

    Bonner.

WHy the would you pass it to Bonner. Weak take.

Now tell me if Parker had someone else other than Bonner open and I might agree with you.

The #1 question how does Pop start Bonner and keep him in there I mean why not pound them down low with TD and Drew.

So far the Spurs seem to be doing all the same things as last game. At least as far as I have noticed. Glad we are looking good but I can't forget that we had a 13 pt lead last game.

Time to sit TP and bring in Hill. We can't afford another exhausted TP in the 4th.

Fratello is a freakin MORON! He keeps talking about JJ Barea, defensive ace, when clearly TP was tired in the second half of game 1. It had very little to do with JJ who is essentially a gunner.
If he mentioned TP being tired he would be guilty of bias for the Spurs. The truth is JJ is the only PG that can stay in front of Parker with geezer Kidd...

The San Antonio Parkers will beat you!!!

4, maybe 5 years ago, I used to really bag on TP. Thought he was totally over-rated. Hated that he didn't have a J to save his life. threw up wayyy to many 3's that he'd rarely hit. Basically thought he was riding Timmy's coattails.

But year by year, he's accepted a larger role. Played more to his strengths (fewer 3's). Became a better distributor. Improved his shooting. Props for him and shame on me. He's really developed into one of a player.

Bonner should be getting the ball if he's open at the three point line. The only value he has is if he's shooting, and he hasn't been getting open that much lately.

    Nice O board by Gooden.
