If same sex marriage is legal, then polygamy should be legal too. It's not fair to polygamists that they don't have the same rights as monogamous marriages.

A better example would be polygamy. Why is that outlawed, if the people are free to choose who to marry and the government should stay out of it?

Polygamy is a very slippery slope as far as marriage goes because if you do a meta-analysis of world cultures who have practices multiple-partner marriage, it is a relative certainty that it's going to be one man - multiple women. Several things work to the man's advantage in this, both economically and biologically. However, this might be a benign situation for many individuals, it can also lead to a very difficult human rights issue. Women in these situations are on tedious ground.
But still, the question is begged.
To me the issue is not about her opinion or even the phototgraphs, but that she lied about them in direct violation of her contract. When you get on TV and proclaim your faith and your moral absolutes, then you better walk the walk and she has not. She has not accepted responsibility for them- blaming photographers and the wind- but not herself for either posing or lying. She has not apologized or told young girls not to do what she has done. Her hypocrisy is why it interests people so much. Gays are detrimental to moral values but apparently topless photos are fine.

Hilton looks like an ass, The Donald points out the hypocrisy of the left (who voted for a President that has the same views as Ms. Prejean), and the stupid idiot from the pageant -- what was her name? Moakler? -- is unemployed today.
Ms. Prejean has a gig with Fox and Friends, becomes famous, and probably goes on to a Vanessa Williams type career; except she gets to keep her crown.

She's not proud of the photographs. One set, I believe, she said she believed would not ever be subject to disclosure because of the nature of the session and the others, which hardly even come close to pornography (nor do the former, from what I've heard).
No, Trump did the right thing. The moonbat left pulled all the stops and basically attempted to stifle Ms. California by humiliation, intimidation, and out-and-out character assassination.

Moakler and Hilton didn't like her answer so, they decided to her up. It cost her the crown and public humiliation. How much more would you punish her?
The Donald rendered a decision and I applaud it. If he had gone the other way, I wouldn't have but, I wouldn't be in here ranting about it. The real injustice here is how Moakler treated her...revealing medical procedures (not uncommon in that industry), and bringing in her parent's divorce as a way of further humiliating her.
I'm satisfied Moakler is unemployed but, again, I wouldn't be losing any sleep if she were still at her job.

She has not shown one ounce of shame nor contrition for what she did. She has not accepted responsibilty for taking the photos then nor for lying about them NOW. The issue is pretty clear that her contract specifically states SEMI-NUDE photos and no one can dispute that these are indeed photos of that nature.
in 2006 Miss Nevada USA got her crown taken away for photos she took when she was a teenager. That's hypopcrisy.

"Semi-nude photos are semi-nude photos," she told E! News, comparing the topless lingerie pics of Prejean with her own shots, which featured a 17-year-old Rees baring a breast, flashing her thong and doing her best Katy Perry impression.
Miss Universe Organization honcho Donald Trump deemed the photos inappropriate and stripped Rees of her Miss Nevada USA le in December 2006.
And this isn't the first time since that Rees has spoken out in opposition to the less harsh treatment doled out to some of her pageant peers.
She called it "unfair" when Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner was allowed to keep her le after the then-underage beauty queen was spotted drinking in various NYC bars and, at one point, kissing one of her gal-pals.
Rees said today that she and Prejean both signed contracts swearing that there were no nude or semi-nude photographs of them in existence.
And they both broke the contract, Rees added, but she is the only one who had to pay so harshly for her mistake. She asked for a chance to reclaim her le, but was denied.
"I don't know why I am the only one who was punished for their behavior," she said. "I was only 19 when those photos were taken of me, and it was me in my personal life, far before I was crowned Miss Nevada. Carrie actually posed for these professional semi-nude photos.
"I think that's worse."
Last week, after the blogosphere was already ablaze with Prejean's anti-gay marriage comments, a racy pic of the Miss USA runner-up was posted on TheDirty.com. Prejean later admitted to having posed for that and other shots when she was only 17, having been convinced "in her naiveté" to do so by the photographer.
Earlier today, Trump ruled that Prejean will remain Miss California.
Rees, who says that she has never actually met Trump, thinks the real-estate tycoon made a mistake by giving her the ax.
"I have been scrutinized in the press and have tried to move on with my life, but it's hard," she told E! News. "Everywhere you go, people judge you on these photos and already think they know the type of person you are."
But despite everything, she said, Rees is proud of the way she has handled the aftermath of her own pageant debacle.
"At least when those pictures of me came out, I admitted I was wrong and told young women in America how big of a mistake it was and to be careful because everything can affect your future," she said. "That's more than Carrie has done. She has lied about her age when she took the photos, lied about how many there were and hasn't acknowledged that she was wrong by breaking the contract. I don't think that is a good role model and I hope young women recognize that."
Has it occured to you that Carrie already said that those 3 pictures were done by a professional photographer during a professional session, and that the photographer kept snapping pictures when he wasn't supposed to?
Photographers snap pictures one after another, a firestorm, they take hundreds of pictures and then pick the ones they like.
Carrie herself said these pictures were taken without her consent, by a PROFESSIONAL during a PHOTO SHOOT!
