Let's face it, the roster may be the problem rather than Pop's management of it. Gooden most of us like, but correct to say he has fallen off lately, injured or not.
Spurs are mentally soft this series. No guts on defense or offense. They're resigned to believing that "the Mavs have too many weapons, and we have none" woe is me bull . This an elimination game.

We did a good job against Dirk and Terry in most of the games prior to this, but we really couldn't take advantage.

There's a lot of blame to go around. Pop, for not keeping hill in any sort of rhythm, destroying mason, providing rotations, overplaying finely, and using bonner over gooden. And our players, outside of tony, tim, and bruce, for showing that they are among some of the worst players in the league.
