You're basing this on one injury prone year? He's been durable for his previous five years. Jesus, you people are premature.
Oh well, let him go.
Denver will take care of him in a few days![]()

who'd want to be on this sinking ship? Phoenix is not the only western power whose sun has set.
well they sorta did but it never stayed, mason and bonner completely disapeared.
Here's to a healthy spurs squad next year. Duncan's still playing great and Parkers getting better and better.
Pop,shave your beards
see u next season,my sa spurs
Bowen was pissed
Rest of the ROLEPLAYER PIECES OF WEREN"T BOTHERED it looked like![]()
Thanks.....very nice of you.![]()
YOU GREGG POPA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()
you don't remember last year's playoffs?
or the Olympics?
or this season?
he's broken down man. accept it.
See you around, guys. It's a long off-season for the Spurs. =)
Better see major changes for 09-10.. With or without Manu, this team needs new young blood.. Can't believe Roger Mason and Drew Gooden barely played after playing so well earlier.. especially shocking is Roger Mason, who had a great year shooting the ball and then Pop decided to take him out.. obviously his confidence and shot are gonna up when you play him 15 mins a game or less after playing him double that.. he doesn't give players chances to get back at it, thats why are offense sucked balls..
Goodbye San Antonio 09
Sorry, i have to laugh![]()
You're calling Denver over LA ?
Nope.
Spurs were a pretty crappy 3 seed. Oh well - at least we weren't a top seed with 67 wins...![]()
Well, that was a butt whoopin. Spurs in a must-win game get down by 14 in the first few minutes, can't fight back. All but one Maverick with a net plus, all but one Spur with a net minus. The Spurs have the luxury of blaming the loss of Manu on the end of their season, but it's a pretty lame excuse, considering the effort they brought.
+1
a true warrior.
i hope he demands Pop's firing.
Even without Manu, losing to the Mavs - yes, those Mavs - is still embarrassing. Only winning one game makes it even worse. I expect some good changes over the summer, and more emphasis on defense next year (did Hill play the entire second half?). But first:
lol Spurs
Well, losing is a bummer, but I'm not nearly as disappointed as I was last year. The Spurs really had no realistic chance of making the Finals this year without Manu and with a hobbled Duncan. The Nuggets will bounce the Mavs in 5 games.
That happened within the calendar year. One year. He injured his ankle in the lakers series, broke it in the olympics. Came back too soon, compensated on the other ankle and produced a stress fracture there. Duncan will recover from his tendonosis, and Manu will recover from his ankle injuries. That said, this team needs more help than a healthy TD and Manu can give them.
The healthier and better team won the series. Congrats Mavs fans, now get ready to get steam rolled by Denver.![]()
its been a tough season... regroup next year... duncan/parker still have a couple more championships left in them... see you guys next year...
