That is what im expecting. Sheed would not only have to come off the bench, he will have to battle it out with Glen Davis on who will get more backup minutes. I just dont see how the situation favors Boston.

That's what Rasheed is going to do to the Celtics (hopefully). He's gonna be treated to a nice meal, tour of the facilities, shown around Boston, and given a contract. Then, he's going to get back on the plane, come to San Antonio, and sign with the Spurs.

If Sheed signs with another team, even the Celtics, Im not going to hate on the guy. Despite what we see on the court sometimes, I believe he is an all round great guy and thats been stated many times by his team mates.

I for one would welcome Sheeds at ude on the court for the Spurs. Its something we have been missing since Captain Jack. It would give the Spurs that edge (metephorically speaking as far as toughness and relatively speaking as far as the compe ion).

People like to pretend the Spurs are saints but I remember countless times Pop getting a Tech just to get the team fired up.

Associated PressRasheed Wallace of the Detroit Pistons, now a free agent, will meet with Boston Celtics officials on Thursday, according to a report by Comcast SportsNet's Gary Tanguay

Talk about the Boston Celtics being interested Rasheed Wallace heated up Wednesday night when Comcast SportsNet's Gary Tanguay reported that the 6-foot-11 power forward, whose contract with the Detroit Pistons expired after the 2008-09 season, will be in Boston on Thursday to meet with the Celtics.
Earlier on Wednesday, Tanguay met up with Celtics general manager Danny Ainge to ask about the Celtics' draft pick, Lester Hudson out of Tennessee-Martin, and Wallace. Ainge told Tanguay that yes, the Celtics are interested in Wallace.
