If we have a chance, we would probably have the advantage. When players actually give us the opportunity and come down here, it usually works. The Riverwalk, Pop, the city of San Antonio, the friendly people in Texas...it's usually a good omen.I hope he gives us a chance to wine him and dine him... he may just sign (verbal) with the C's after the meeting ala Ben Gordon and Charlie V.

I agree. I just hate the idea that he is meeting with the C's first. You know KG and his boys are going to lay it on THICK. I bet part of the motivation is just to keep him off of our team. The rest of the league does not want to see what POP can do with him.

I would rather have McDyess than the Powe. McDyess can step out and hit the 12-15 ft. jumper consistently.
Powe is good around the basket and is tough-minded. But McDyess has more of an all-around game.

Different price ranges on them, his injury could drop his price tag a lot if he could be had for the lle Id take him.
who says we can't have both McDyess and Powe, McDyess isn't worth the whole MLE and Powe has a torn ACL (who needs that anyway) and probably won't get many offers.
Mcdyess might not be worth the MLE but if he doesnt stay in Detroit it will probably be for the mle.
