Actually, that was rather nice. In traffic And-1 alley...
It's funny bc the screen didn't really do anything to free up Batum, it was just a great pass and Batum just flat out beat his guy.
All we can do is hope that this play becomes Parker to Leonard.
Hopefully Joseph can play for the Canadian NT

Lazy/horrible teams are the only ones who will allow it. Good teams have adapted to this wrinkle by having their big involved in the screen shadow RJ streaking in the the paint until the SF recovered. Leaving a possible open 16-18 footer for Dice-Blair-Tim (screener) for a few seconds.
And I'm pretty sure TP/Batum can get away with that play anytime they wanted to if they keep playing team Canada every game.

Isn't fair or accurate to analyze this now. Ask again a year from now, once Leonard gets a year under his belt (that's if there's a NBA season).
