I will by this CD, just cause you say so.
I'm still short an Old 97s CD. Which is it? .... Too Far to Roam?
... as they are of mine, check out their new album. You don't have to tell anyone you're listening to Green Day... Do it under cover of darkness if you like.
But I've managed to obtain an advanced copy and I predict big things for this album. Grammys even. Somehow they've managed to find a happy medium between poppy punk and progressive concept album (the album features two 5-part, 10-minute suites). And the results are quite surprising.
This is not the Dookie-era Green Day we all became violently sick of in 1995. The promise shown on their Nimrod and Warning albums has come to fruition, and they have created one of the best mainstream/alternative rock albums of the past ten years.

But what if Dookie era Green Day IS a guilty pleasure of ours?

I love Green Day.
See, Bandit. :wink
Guru, while I appreciate your trust in my taste, I should also remind you that Rush is my favorite band...
Too Far to Care.I'm still short an Old 97s CD. Which is it? .... Too Far to Roam?
And have you gotten their latest release yet?
If you have the latest release of Winamp (Yes, it's a free download), you can stream the album in its entirety.
Green Day has been annoying me ever since their Bush bashing came out. Granted...I think Bush is an idiot, but they are just annoying with it.
Green Day is clearly a simpsons ripoff
There's a bit of Bush bashing on the album, but it's pretty subtle... and that's assuming you can understand the words.
Speak for yourself young man.Green Day has been annoying me ever since their Bush bashing came out. Granted...I think Bush is an idiot, but they are just annoying with it.
I like bush bashing.
Green Day Very tired. If they have reinvented themselves, I'll check it.
I don't care what bands sing about. I disagree 100%, politically, with my 2 favorite bands (PJ and Tool-Maynard specifically). I still enjoy their music.
