Many here have expressed interest in Chris Andersen. Looby is showing signs of having the potential to be a similar NBA player. After not playing too much at Iowa, he earned more and more playing time in McAllen as the season wore on with his shot blocking and improving rebounding. In the last three months of the season, Looby averaged around 12 rebounds and 3 blocks per game. He led the D-League in blocks per game and blocks per 48 among qualifying players.
No offense to speak of outside of dunks, but his rebounding, blocking and overall energy could make him worthy of a look this summer.
