One of my favorites!
This is so messed up and sad. I still have my jacket from Beat It at my mom's house. I wore it every year grades 1-5. I'm not even kidding, the whole outfit, jacket, black pants, shirt and shoes, every year in elementary and I didn't care what anyone said.
I had a messed up abused childhood, but the first and only record my mom ever got me was Thriller, the vinyl along with the tape. I still have them.
He was the greatest, he knew what he wanted in his videos, he was the video God. You don't have that anymore. Everything he did, he worked hard on. Every video was epic, it was a movie...
His videos were events, everyone waited for the premiere of the vid on primetime television, sat down with their families, just waiting for greatness.
There will never be anyone like him again. All these pop stars wouldn't be here if it weren't for him. All these dances and dance routines, where do you think they all came from? Everyone thinks they are an entertainer these days.
Michael was reallllly an entertainer. The productions, the shows he put on on stage. Hit after hit, he gave and gave. The crowds he got across the world, people fainting...
Man in the Mirror was a song about making a change in this world, but starting wth yourself. I always wanted to meet him. I will miss him.
His first number #1 hit as a solo artist:
they doing 1hr special down here, i think they are showin moonwalk movie or some ....
+1 I love that song.
WTF is wrong with you people, all these Jackson video's and no one posts the first time EVER he moonwalked?
and WTF else!!! No ing Smooth Criminal? Are you peope re ed? The part where he catches the cue ball in the air and breaks it in his fist then blows the dust in the guys face is epic! Nevermind the fact that that suit is ing pimp!
